A Roll of the Dice?

What says New Year’s Day more than Vegas and a hockey game? Well, just about anything but…

Still, Las Vegas is one of the sites reportedly being considered for the NHL’s next Winter Classic held outside annually on New Year’s Day.

This year’s classic was held at Wrigley Field in Chicago and was a big success.

Among the other candidates are the new Yankee Stadium and the Rose Bowl in California.

"P
enn State University’s Beaver Stadium, as well as sites in both Washington and Boston are also being included as possible sites," NHL CEO John Collins told Bloomberg News.

One possibility has the New York Rangers playing another team from the NHL’s original six at the house that Jeter built.

That’d be cool, but for my money I’d love to see the Bruins host the Rangers at Fenway Park.

Boston’s Harvard Stadium and Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. have also been rumored as potential sites.

If they hold it at Beaver Stadium, I'll sell more than my kidney or first born to go. I'm actually on a Facebook group that started a while ago called Bring the Pens and Flyers to Beaver Stadium. Love it!!!
